Splendid 4th  Place Finish for Vieja Valley in Math Superbowl

            Congratulations are due to our Vieja Valley Math Superbowl participants! On Thursday, May 13th , 342 students competed in the 29th Annual Math Superbowl at the Earl Warren Showgrounds.  Vieja Valleyplaced fourth overall! Our fourth grade team place 3rd overall,  fifth grade team was 6th and our sixth grade team placed 6th.  In the individual competition, 4th grader Alex Furukawa placed 3rd, fifth grader Sophia Kaminski placed 5th  and sixth grader Megan McQueen place 3rd . Vieja Valley wants to extend a hearty congratulations to all the math superbowl participants for their efforts that make us so proud of you and our school.
