Kim Aragon is delighted to be the newest member of Vieja's teaching staff!  Currently teaching fourth grade in room 8, Mrs. Aragon has experience in a variety of grade levels, including second, fifth, and Kindergarten.  Mrs. Aragon was a long-term substitute in the Hope District for the past two years.  Before moving to Santa Barbara, she taught for eight years in Santa Monica.  She lived in Los Angeles for 13 years and received her Masters in Education and teaching credential from UCLA.  Mrs. Aragon loves to go to the beach with her husband Joe, her two daughters, Isabel (10) and Emelia (6), and her two dogs, Sherman and Penny.  If there is any other free time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, and swing dancing. Mrs. Aragon emphasizes that her number one goal as a teacher is to instill an excitement for learning in every child, and she strives to do just that at Vieja this year!

Linda Masho is our new Health Clerk/Office Assistant.  She comes to us from Monte Vista  having worked there for many years as both an Instructional Aide and Substitute Teacher.  She has two kids, a son who is a sophomore at UCLA, and a daughter who is a Senior at San Marcos High School, and is married to a husband who enjoys restoring vintage motorcycles when he's not busy with his "real" job of Real Estate Broker.  In her spare time, Linda enjoys hiking with her lab and cheering on her kids playing water polo and volleyball.  She is thrilled to be here at Vieja Valley.
