I feel so fortunate to be a part of the Vieja Valley Family! I have been teaching kindergarten here for three years now and absolutely love this age group. There is never a dull moment in our classroom and the things that come out of these 4-6 year old mouths... I laugh all day long! We have an amazing group of kids this year. They are full of enthusiasm, energy, intelligence and kindness. I'm looking forward to a great school year. A little bit about me: I grew up on the Central Coast in a small town called Los Osos and have been living in the Santa Barbara area for the past three years. Last summer I married another Vieja Valley teacher, Tim Barker. We currently live in Goleta with our dog Bodhi. I love the beach, traveling, hiking, camping, anything to do with arts and crafts, and teaching at Vieja Valley!
