Charles Lindbergh

Charles Lindbergh was famous because he was the first to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. Charles joined the United States Army Air Service. Charles began working on airplanes. He would have to stay awake for the next 33 1/2 hours. Charles flew through rain and ice storms. The name of his airplane was the Spirit of St. Louis. He had the longest flight ever. It was about 33 1/2 hours.
