Dr. Seuss was famous for writing fantasy books. He wrote his first book in 1937. His most well known book is Cat in The Hat. His favorite book was the Grinch. He wrote 50 books and all of them were colorful and funny. He was sad so he started to write violent books. His use of rhyming and short words encouraged children to read. I chose Dr. Seuss because he is a funny writer!
