Helen Keller was famous because she was a perfect woman (she could do everything that other people could do) and she could run around when deaf and blind. Helen was six months old when she began to talk. A year later she got very ill. She was deaf and blind. Once she cut off her friends hair. Helen Keller wrote and did things when deaf and blind. Before she died she got the Presidential Medal of Freedom!
