All week long, we
learned about metric and standard units of measurement.
On Friday, we estimated
the weights and measurements for various activities.
At six different
events, we measured in grams, milliliters and centimeters.
Events:
Paper Straw Throw
Sponge Squeeze
Paper Plate Discus
Big Foot
Cotton Ball Shotput
Right Handed Marble Grab
We subtracted the difference
between our estimations and actual measurements.
Then we added all these
numbers to determine our final score at the Metric Olympics!
