Imaginary Place Story
This September sculpture and story was inspired by Alice McLerran and Barbara Cooney's book
called Roxaboxen.
A Great Day in Spring
One day, Hunter came to my house. We went in my pond to swim. Hunter jumped off a rock and did a splashy cannonball. After swimming, we went on my swings to swing. Jessica swung so high that she almost flew off the swing. Then we played Legos. Hunter made a car. Jessica made a truck and I built a water balloon Lego. After that we played a 3 person water balloon toss, Hunter caught the balloon and it popped. Then Hunter had to go home.
Chumash Notes
In October, we watched a film on the Chumash and took 10 interesting notes.
Mr. Stevens taught us how to export our Kid Pix art into our Claris Home Page text.
Rain Story
This November story was inspired by our first rainy day.
I was racing my racecar down a hill with two stone pillars and some sticks on the ground. But then, suddenly out of nowhere, a big black rain cloud came. I thought it was going to rain. If it did rain, my car would get damaged. But to my surprise instead of rain a big light of thunder shot out of the cloud and it caused the sticks to burn up on fire. And then in a flick of a whisker, it was gone and the sun came out. So I raced my car once again and this time it rode perfectly!
