Imaginary Place Story
This September sculpture and story was inspired by Alice McLerran and Barbara Cooney's book
called Roxaboxen.
The Raygun Station
Once upon a time, in a place called Raysville, a ray -gun factory was testing a ray-gun. The ray-gun was very powerful and it shot a hole through the roof straight to the sun. The power from the ray was so strong that it made the sun explode. So the people in Raysville became very cold. So all the people in the city got together to build another giant raygun and shoot it into space to make a new sun.
Chumash Notes
In October, we watched a film on the Chumash and took 10 interesting notes.
Mr. Stevens taught us how to export our Kid Pix art into our Claris Home Page text.
Rain Poetry
This November poem was inspired by our first rainy day.
It's raining all week.
Our ship is leaking.
The thunder's bashing.
Our ship is crashing
What are we gonna do?
But wait, the rain stopped.
Phew!
