Imaginary Place Story
This September sculpture and story was inspired by Alice McLerran and Barbara Cooney's book
called Roxaboxen.
My Dream Bedroom
This is what I call my dream bedroom. I have my bed, my dog's bed and a lot of other things. My roommates are Rachel, Sierra and Lindsey. I do have a dog and my car is cool. My dog is five years old but 3 weeks in real years.
Rachel and Lindsey have a bigger room than me but I like my bedroom. It is cool. I have a pet lizard. It's name is Roky. She is cool but overgrown. My pillow is wired and dotted.
Chumash Notes
In October, we watched a film on the Chumash and took 10 interesting notes.
Mr. Stevens taught us how to export our Kid Pix art into our Claris Home Page text.
Rain Poetry
This November poem was inspired by our first rainy day.
One day it rained outside and when it stopped I was waiting for a rainbow. A girl came out of the sky and said, "The rainbow is late. She is having a glass of tea with the fogger."
I said, "Wait, come back. Will you take me to the rainbow? I just want to see a pretty rainbow."
When the rainbow came out, the fogger saw she was out and threw a fit. He was so angry, he threw a ball of fog out and nobody could see the rainbow.
I went in my dream of when the fogger fogged me. Now the fogger came to me and I said, "Where is the rainbow? I must see her again."
I waited and waited and waited. Finally, she came out. Then, I was happy.
