Imaginary Place Story
This September sculpture and story was inspired by Alice McLerran and Barbara Cooney's book
called Roxaboxen.
Googly Genty Town
This is my town. Along time ago, there was a big slim storm that drizzled goo from the sky and PUFF the land was perfect. So that is how the town got its name.
In my town, I have a car and a cat. The cat is black and is really soft. Her name is Katie the Cat. Her favorite place to go is in the dressing room. My room has a satellite dish that helps me to get more TV channels. I have a remote control couch to watch the tav. My bed is a dog bed but it is not for dogs. It is for me and my cat Katie. I have a whole set of Magic Tree House Books because my cat likes to read them.
Chumash Notes
In October, we watched a film on the Chumash and took 10 interesting notes.
Mr. Stevens taught us how to export our Kid Pix art into our Claris Home Page text.
Rain Poetry
This November poem was inspired by our first rainy day.
It's raining on a pumpkin
What a sight!
It's a big shot of lightening
On a rainbow kite.
I'm going to have birthday cake
Because my cousin is turning 78.
