Imaginary Place Story
This September sculpture and story was inspired by Alice McLerran and Barbara Cooney's book
called Roxaboxen.
Nurd Station
This is my army station. It is very big. There is an electric fence. The electric fence sucks up grenades and powers up my picture. My picture turns on the nurdafeckter. The N.U.F.E. makes the giant button suck up all the grenades and shoots them. They fly into the air and explode. It's snowing right now. I have a raygun, it has two parts. One of them reflects the sun and shoots out laser beams at bad things. I live in one of the corcks. I have a pet dog with three heads. Not all of them have two eyes, one of them has one eye. When I throw the T-Rex bone, my dog fights over it. There are two bad guys that want to steal my raygun. They have big ships with spears on them. My station is on an island close to Hawaii. The bad guys have to take their ships to attack my island. They carry knives with them. My dog mostly tries to eat the bad guys. Once spit was dripping from my dog's mouths, it was green. He ran on the ship of the bad guys. The motor started, the bad guys jumped off. My dog turned the ship around. He crashed it into the island, it made a big explosion. It hit the oil tank and it made an even bigger explosion. My dog came out of the smoke and fire. He was very happy. We lived happy until ..... the next attack.

Rain Poetry
This November poem was inspired by our first rainy day.
There was a pumpkin lying against a barn.
Suddenly, a lightening bolt struck the barn!
The pumpkin screamed like a pig
that just got smacked.
Then, money signs and letters flew down.
A pig, a goose, a chicken and a pumpkin fell.
Then a big roar came.
A T-rex flew down.
What next?
A diplodocus?
The pumpkin scrambled into the barn.
"That's all," he said.
My Second Birthday
My second birthday was my favorite day because I got to see all of my family. I experienced that I had cake. I thought, "what is that?" Then I smashed my face into it. It looked marvelous inside.
After that it was time to open presents. Once again, I didn't know what to do with them. Then I saw a big present with shiny wrapping paper. I ran over to it and tore through it like a rocket flying through a black hole. Then I saw a teddy bear -- it fell on me. I said "OOOOOh", and I hugged it. Then I jumped on another present. I flew up into the air then I fell down onto a pillow. I felt dizzy.
After that I took a bath. I saw a fin in the water. I ran like an ostrich to the other side of the bath tub. Luckily it was only a toy shark. It was night time.At night, I had a nightmare. It was freaky.
In the morning, I ate five pancakes. "That's what I call a good breakfast."
That's all that I remember of my second birthday.
