Imaginary Place Story

This September sculpture and story was inspired by Alice McLerran and Barbara Cooney's book

called Roxaboxen.

My Roller Coaster

This is my roller coaster. The name of it is Thunder Mountain. It is named after a ride at Disneyland. I get to pull the lever that makes it go. It goes about fifty miles per hour. It has a lot of sharp twisty turns but it doesn't have any straight drops down. There is one similar to it called the Matterhorn. It's made after the real mountain called the Matterhorn. Both of the roller coasters are scary but they are also a lot of fun.

Chumash Notes

In October, we watched a film on the Chumash and took 10 interesting notes.

Mr. Stevens taught us how to export our Kid Pix art into our Claris Home Page text.

Rain Poetry

This November poem was inspired by our first rainy day.

Biking in the Rain

Once I went biking,

Instead of hiking.

A lightening bolt came out of the sky

And sent me up to fly.

Mud splattered in the air

And I said, "I don't care!"
