Imaginary Place Story
This September sculpture and story was inspired by Alice McLerran and Barbara Cooney's book
called Roxaboxen.
Fun Done House
I made this house. It is the hardest one to make. l like it! I made the rope so you can climb up and down. There are two poles that are gold that some people try to steal but they are too hard to get up. It has less snow under the steps that go up to the tree house. The snow hides the gold inside the bucket one hundred feet below. It snows too fast for anyone to dig to the gold! I made a little boat, it is hidden inside of the wall that is made of corks. There are red feathers on the ground that are inside lots of buckets and there is gold inside of one the buckets. On the tree house, there are two radars that some people touch because they think it is the gold but it shocks them. There is also a raygun that is controlled by the bottom controls. The bottom of the tree house is a secret place where other people hide but some people can't go in because they don't have a pass. You have to do special tests to get a pass, four different tests. One test is easy, another test is medium, the third test is hard and the final one is intense!
Chumash Notes
In October, we watched a film on the Chumash and took 10 interesting notes.
Mr. Stevens taught us how to export our Kid Pix art into our Claris Home Page text.
Rain Poetry
This November poem was inspired by our first rainy day.
I see you
And I see you.
Good night, you
And good night pumpkin.
Good night, light
And good night knight.
