Hi Vieja Valley! My name is Jen Bowman and I am the new Office/Health Clerk. I am so happy to join your terrific school! I was born and raised here in Santa Barbara, attending Montessori Center School, La Cumbre Jr. High School, and San Marcos High School. I then went to college at UC Santa Barbara where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Women's Studies. I moved down to San Diego the day after graduation and quickly became an avid San Diego Chargers fan. After a three year stay in San Diego, my husband and I moved back here to Santa Barbara so we could be close to our family again. Our beautiful son just had his first birthday in November 2011 and we celebrated with lots of family, friends, and his very first bite of cake! Before coming to Vieja Valley School I was the Director of Outreach and Teen Programs at Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara. I love working with kids and look forward to each day here at Vieja Valley getting to know your children!
