Science

In science class with the help of Mrs. Baird, our science specialist, we have been learning about the changing earth. Students have learned about different rocks and minerals, and changes to the earth's surface.

Field Trips

Our next fourth grade field trips will support our Missions of California unit. On Friday, March 22, students will visit La Purisima Mission in Lompoc. On Friday, March 29, we will travel to Leadbetter Beach and make sand models of our missions. In April, fourth grade students will go on a field trip to the Olivas Adobe in Ventura. They will make corn tortillas, make adobe bricks, hear stories, and play games while learning about the Rancho Period of California History.
