Homework
Homework follows the same schedule each week. Sometimes the schedule changes (for example when there is a short week or special assignment). The following assignments will need to be completed on the designated day and turned in the following morning. All homework will be passed out on the first day of the week.
Monday: Math
Tuesday: Math
Wednesday: Spelling
Thursday: Teachers' Choice. This is a catch all day. It could be science, social studies, a project additional spelling, etc.
Each night children should read 20-25 minutes and record information on their Reading Log which is due Friday. I will check in Reading Logs and then return them to the children. They will go home in their folders on Fridays.
Homework assignments are due the morning after the day they were completed. (For example: Math is done Tuesday night and is due Wednesday morning.)
Infrequently the above schedule will change but I'll do my best to notify you in my parent letter the week before the change occurs.
