This is my fifteenth year
teaching. Thirteen of those years have been at Vieja Valley. I have
taught first, second, fourth, and fifth. I love teaching fourth grade. I think 9 and 10 year olds are the best. I look forward to another great year. It is difficult not to have a good year at VV!
I live in Santa Ynez
with my husband Jon and stepdaughter
Chelsea, 17. My daughter, Chelsea, 26, (yes there are two Chelseas), lives in Carlsbad, California and teaches high school English. My son Paul, 23, attends Santa Barbara City College and my stepson Chris, 21, works in Solvang. My stepdaughter Brittany, 19, is a sophomore at Cal State San Francisco. We also have two dogs and four
cats who allow us to live with them.
In my spare time I enjoy
being with my family and other loved ones. I also like to run,
bike, hike, do crossword and sudoku puzzles, read, go to the beach
or movies, camp, be a "sports spectator" and
just relax. My husband and I also enjoy western dance. We're not very good at it,but it's tons of fun!
