This is my seventeenth year
teaching. Fifteen of those years have been at Vieja Valley. I have
taught first, second, fourth, and fifth. I love teaching fourth grade. I think 8 and 9 year olds are the wonderful. I look forward to another great year. It is difficult not to have a good year at VV!
I live in Santa Ynez
with my husband Jon. My daughter, Chelsea, 28 lives in Carlsbad, California with her husband, Tim, and teaches high school English. My son Paul, 25, lives and works in Austin, Texas and my stepson Chris, 23, lives and works in Santa Ynez. My stepdaughter Brittany, 21, is a junior at Cal State San Francisco and my stepdaughter Chelsea, (yes, there are two Chelseas) lives in Santa Barbara and attends City College. We also have two dogs and four
cats who allow us to live with them.
In my spare time I enjoy
being with my family and other loved ones. I also like to run,
bike, hike, do crossword and sudoku puzzles, read, go to the beach
or movies, golf, be a "sports spectator" and
just relax. My husband and I also enjoy western dance. We're not very good at it,but it's tons of fun!
